Introducing pilot projects in the German Federal States
In 2006 the first pilot projects of the "Early intervention and help for families, child protection and social warning systems" action programme have been initiated. They further develop the sound early intervention measures which were already in place in many towns and cities. Within the 16 Federal States we now support a total of ten projects which are pursuing very promising objectives and which will help close any knowledge gaps through a scientific monitoring process. We have worked with the Federal States to select the projects - some of which extend across state boundaries. All the pilot projects are profiled in this brochure.
